roshan: The irrigation backlog for Vidarbha has increased from 38.05% in 1982 to 62.20% in 2002 while for rest of state, it has come down from 39% in 1982 to 4.73% in 2002.

Shashank: Madhu Koda initiated a separate for Jharkand for upliftment of tribal people, infrastructure and blah blah blah....now caught with a scam of 5500 crore... i knw MH gov not capable of running the state... MH gov gets one of the biggest package...but the infrastructure developed is least in MH ... thus its not imp to create state...but its imp to have great visioners... from my point of view i have not found any great visioners here..and the proof is the infrastructure..everything that is new here..i find it implemented in karnataka ..long time back.... so i am not against creating a state...but if a gov like MH is governing vidharba..then we are wasting time

to become a state Vidabha fulfills all the criteria. -- already central govt declared that before telangana.

How the elections are faught in INDIA

Well, I am telling you my personal experince.

As you know I am from a very small village from Bhandara District, MH, India. In latest "Loksabha" election there were 3 major candidates one from congress-NCP, second from BJP and Third was independent.

Before the day of actual voting, 2 boxes of wine("Daru") and "Chiwada" pockets were sent to local represntatives of our so called national parties and independent candidate too... On the day of voting these were distributed among the voters...


I don't know by this way how many % of voting get converted for that candidate actually... But this is the way elections are faught.

Good night vs Thank you

Hi,
My sister taught some words to my nephew e.g Thank you, Sorry, Good Night. His age is around 3 yrs.
So he was not able to pronounce Good Night correctly.
At night when my sister said him good night, he said " Good night is very difficult Can I say Thank you." ("मला गुड नाई़त कठिन वाटते, मी थंक्यु म्हटल तर चालेल काय ? ")
What can we say? Childrens are so innocent.
